When we listen carefully to somebody else’s lived experience, does it help us to understand our own stories? Does it make us empathise with one another? Many women who are structurally silenced, within and outside their homes, find a sense of solidarity when offered a space to share. A collective effort by the women of Lingarajapuram, Nanna Langa (my skirt) holds more than five hundred of their stories shared in the company of each other.
