Indu Antony made these posters in 2018 when this nun came out and spoke about being raped by the priest Franco Mulakkal. For more than three years, the nun from the Missionaries of Jesus convent in Kottayam’s Kuravilangad has been fighting a legal case against the bishop, accusing him of raping her 13 times between 2014 and 2016. This poster was used as a front during protest walks and pasted across town. A lot of us went to protest and stood with the nun. On 14th January 2022, Franco was acquitted. As sister Anupama said, ‘Man with money and muscle power won’.
