ആരോടും പറയല്ലേ ട്ടാ explores the delicate, charged terrain of secrecy—how it shapes power, intimacy, and vulnerability. The phrase itself is familiar, often spoken just before a confidence is shared. It is an invitation, a warning, and at times a command. Secrecy can forge closeness between people, creating a private space held together by trust. Yet this same gesture can also become a mechanism of control, defining who is silenced and who is allowed to speak. The work reflects on the tension between what we keep hidden and what we choose to reveal. Why do we hold certain secrets so tightly? At what moment do they become too heavy to carry? And what shifts when the bond of secrecy breaks—when a truth steps out of its concealed place? My own relationship with this phrase is shaped by a difficult and formative experience from my early life. “Don’t tell anyone” was a directive I once heard at a moment when I felt most vulnerable. Those words became a boundary enforced by fear, profoundly influencing my understanding of silence and power. By rendering the phrase in neon, I pull it into visibility—transforming a private command into a public question. The work becomes a space where secrecy is examined, unfastened, and given the possibility of release.
